HKEnglish.com, a leading provider of high quality English language services, has launched their professional CV writing services and job interview courses in Hong Kong. The company aims to help individuals in Hong Kong improve their communication to international job market standards necessary for their career growth.
It is popularly understood that the success of any business is usually attributed to one important thing, which is none other than clear communication. In the international market, almost all transactions are done using the English language. Today, most of the employers in Hong Kong demand high quality resumes and CVs in English. However, with the relatively low English proficiency in Hong Kong, most job hunters find it hard to compete with other applicants while companies also experience difficulty in selecting the right applicants who can be an asset to their business.
Many non-native English speaking business executives experience difficulty in writing their CV’s in English. In addition, senior executives are usually interviewed in English but new graduates or, alternatively, those executives who have been in the same job for a long time, often lack job interview experience & the relevant English skills to perform well. These days, Hong Kong based multi-national companies require workers to be proficient in English speaking and writing as well as Cantonese and Mandarin (Putonghua). HKEnglish.com’s expert career teachers and professional writers aim to help individuals improve their career progression.
HKEnglish.com provides clients with high quality, professional English CV (Curriculum Vitae) writing services and job interview skills training for individuals looking for promotion or a new job. HKEnglish Supports the Plain English Campaign in Hong Kong

April 22, 2013 -- HONG KONG - HKEnglish.com, a leading provider of private English tuition and corporate business English training in Hong Kong, has announced its support for the Plain English Campaign, due to its commitment to improving the quality of written business communication across the globe.
Although Western governments and corporations have adopted the Plain English Writing Style, most organisations in Hong Kong continue to use an archaic and antiquated writing style that is hard to understand. Plain English encourages the use of uncomplicated grammatical structures, everyday words and short sentences instead of their complicated counterparts.
Ian Nock, Director of Studies at HKEnglish.com, said "We are delighted to be part of this campaign. Plain English saves time and money because readers are able to understand the meaning without explanation.”
The Plain English Campaign was founded more than 30 years ago in the UK with an aim to fight against incoherent government reports and documents. In 2010, the Plain Writing Act was brought into law in the US along with the US Federal Plain Language Guidelines (2011). The US Securities and Exchange Commission has published its own guide to Plain English and the rules require some parts of prospectuses to be written in Plain English.
"Plain English is the business and governmental writing of the future. It should be implemented across the board by banks, law firms, insurance companies, financial services providers and government departments to enable clarity of meaning." Nock said.
HKEnglish.com aims to provide the best English language services for Asia and Hong Kong by providing in-house company English tuition, private English tuition, corporate training as well as proofreading and editing services. The company has a wide range of business writing and corporate business writing training programs customised to meet everyone’s exact learning needs.
Established in 2001, HKEnglish.com has experienced and qualified native English teachers and expert business writing trainers that provide clients a professional and effective English language learning experience. The company’s 1 to 1 English courses include business English, oral English, social English, intonation and pronunciation, English for presentations, exam preparation, preparation for study abroad, IELTS, academic English and TOEFL. HKEnglish.com also offers free resources for learning this language. The company designs the course content around the client’s specific English learning needs as it understands that every student is different and has his or her own weaknesses and strengths.
