IELTS Listening Tips

First and foremost thing to do would be reading the question paper thoroughly. The question paper will also have the instructions, along with the questions.

As you read the questions, think about suitable alternatives for key expressions.

Now, think about possible answers. Try to question yourself, so you can get the answers. Ask “Am I looking at a verb, a noun, or a name, etc? Check if the answer you chose syncs with the sentence, most importantly if it is correct, grammatically. If you think it is not right, you can change the answer.

Now, fill in the answers carefully and don’t leave any question unanswered.

Remember: There are no penalties for wrong answers.
